Active Server Pages

Microsoft's "Active Server Pages", or ASP, is the technology behind the With Catalogue and E-Commerce packages.

With simple HTML, which is used for the Business Web Site package, the page content is fixed by the author - similar to writing a document in a word processor. This means that if prices or products change, your web author has to modify the page directly and upload it to your server.

Using ASP technology, your web site can access a database that can contain product information, prices, the latest news, etc. Client Software can then give you online access to the database, allowing you to update prices and products whenever necessary.
